Harvey C. Kwiyani

Dr. Harvey Kwiyani is a leading mission theologian currently serving as the chief executive officer of Global Connections (formerly the Evangelical Mission Association) in the United Kingdom. He also teaches at the Church Mission Society in Oxford. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Missio Africanus and the General Editor of Missio Africanus: The Journal of African Missiology.

John Tasker

John Tasker is involved in building multicultural churches as a lay minister in the Diocese of London, a Commissary of the Bishop of Angola, and a trustee of MANNA since 2009. He has a Masters in Theology with Church Mission Society (CMS), focusing on Pioneer Mission. John is the Treasurer for Missio Africanus.

Sheilah AKOMIAH-CONTEH

Dr Sheila Akomiah-Conteh is a Ghanaian scholar based in Scotland. She is a qualitative research associate at Brendan Research, a Christian research organization based in Edinburgh, and a religious studies teacher. She’s on the Editorial Board of Missio Africanus: The Journal of African Missiology

Joseph OLA

Joseph is a Pastor at The Apostolic Church Liverpool. He holds Master’s degrees in Biblical and Pastoral Theology, and in African Christianity from Liverpool Hope University. He is a doctoral candidate at the University of Roehampton, London. Joseph founded the Alive Mentorship Group in 2015, a platform that provides online mentoring to teenagers and young adults with a growing global outreach to thousands of young people. Joseph is the Secretary for Missio Africanus.

Paul Ayokunle

Paul Ayokunle is a theologian and a mission-minded scholar. For over four years, he has researched church growth dynamics among African diaspora congregations in Liverpool at Liverpool Hope University for his doctoral degree. He is a Baptist-trained and ordained minister, currently on the pastoral team of Pentecost Baptist Church, Liverpool. Paul is passionate about the second-generation African diaspora and has worked with teenagers and young adults. Paul organises the monthly Pan-African Theology Roundtable.

Damilola Abraham

Rev Damilola Abraham holds a B.Sc. from the University of Lagos, an M.Div. from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso, and an MA from Liverpool Hope University, UK. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctorate in Theology at Liverpool, UK, with research interests in African Christianity, African Indigenous Churches (AICs), African Diaspora Christianity, Missions, and Biblical and Pastoral Theology. Damilola oversees Missio Africanus’ Moya Chronicles.

Colin Smith

Dr. Colin Smith is the Dean of Mission Education at the Church Mission Society (CMS). He had previously served as Director of the Centre for Urban Mission and taught at Carlile College, a Church Army Training College, and St Paul’s University. He has a doctorate in Missiology from the University of South Africa.

Modupe Adefala

Pastor Modupe Adefala is a Managing Chaplain and Pastor at Word Fountain Christian Ministries, Oxford. Modupe has a Masters in Theology with Church Mission Society (CMS), focusing on Pioneer Mission. During her Master’s degree, she researched the pioneering initiatives of 5 Nigerian Women in London.

Girma Bishaw

Dr Girma Bishaw is an ordained minister at the Ethiopian Christian Fellowship Church in London where he has been pastoring for over twenty years. He has a Masters degree in Theological Education and Youth Ministry at King’s College London, and completed his doctoral studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, Kentucky, USA.
